Position Overview:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced AP Analyst to join their client's team in Arizona. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the accounts payable department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing transactions and resolving discrepancies. The AP Analyst will report to the AP Manager and collaborate with team members to drive growth and transformation within the department.

*This is a long-term full-time temporay assignment, 100% in-office. in Chandler, Arizona M-F.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day accounts payable transactions, account reconciliations, and resolve account discrepancies.
• Work with the Lead to research and resolve aged account issues.
• Drive growth and transformation of the AP department to meet evolving needs.
• Reconcile incoming vendor invoice discrepancies.
• Respond to internal and external AP inquiries.
• Prepare analysis of vendor accounts and assist in managing vendor relationships.
• Recommend and complete actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives.
• Review processes to ensure proper general ledger account coding.
• Assist with monthly reconciliation and closing of accounts payable sub-ledger.
• Assist in month-end and weekly reporting preparation.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of progressive accounts payable experience.
• Strong experience using SAP software.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with varying levels of management and staff.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate efficiently and effectively with internal and external parties.
• Ability to embrace hands-on work in a rapidly changing, fast-paced growth environment.
• Able to effectively manage and prioritize critical deadlines.
• Works well under pressure of deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AP Automation.

Work Hours:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

Compensation:

Pay range: $30.00 per hour
